Planning and zoning are examples of mitigation actions, as are floodplain protection, property acquisition and relocation, and public outreach projects. Installing disaster warning systems, purchasing radio communications equipment, and conducting emergency response training are examples of preparedness actions. Disaster mitigation is at the heart of emergency management.

Human degradation of nature is the greatest challenge of the twenty-first century, yet it barely registers as a political issue. Environment solutions often create jobs & economic opportunities.

Children's Medical Center Foundation

Children’s Health is committed to making life better for children. As one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric health care providers in the country and the leading pediatric health care system in North Texas, Children’s Health cares for children through more than 750,000 patient visits annually.

Immunotec will support Mental & Behavioral Health

Pediatric mental health poses a substantial and costly challenge in healthcare, with 20% of children facing undiagnosed depression and anxiety. Suicide ranks as the second-leading cause of death among 15- to 24-year-olds in the U.S.

Children’s Health is helping address this problem on several fronts, from implementing and enhancing mental health programs to increasing access with telehealth to training current and new care providers.

Relife Foundation

Relife was founded with a clear purpose: to save lives through training, education, and prevention. Established on December 19, 2022, by a team of seasoned multidisciplinary professionals, Relife aims to prevent addiction through education and training.

However, the truth is that Relife's origins date back 21 years ago when Julio Alberto Moreno, former player of F.C. Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, and the Spanish National Team, began helping individuals in the grips of addiction and giving lectures to prevent its dangers.
